    公司始建于1992年，地处经济发达的长江三角洲——江苏张家港市塘桥镇妙桥，东至上海100公里，204国道、沿江高速依镇而过，交通十分便利。公司现有职工人数800多人，其中，中高级技术人员92人。全公司占地面积为62000平方米，建筑面积38000平方米。厂区绿化覆盖面积占40%，环境幽雅，是个花园式工厂。公司拥有世界先进设备。精纺年产量3000吨、半精纺年产量1000吨、德国STOLL电脑横机年产量100万件；公司有较广阔的进货渠道和销售渠道，产品远销韩国、香港、日本、新加坡、澳大利亚、德国等国家和地区，还可来料加工。稳定的质量、不断的创新使远大公司的产品在市场上倍受青睐。目前，公司已发展成为配套设施齐全，技术力量雄厚，经营能力强，管理科学化、规范化的规模型企业。

Company's General Situation
    Founded in 1992, the company is located in Miaoqiao, Tangqiao Town, Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province and is situated in the economically-developed Yangtze River Delta, and it enjoys extremely convenient transportation, with Shanghai being 100 km away to the east and with National Highway No.204 and YanJiang Expressway passing by the town. The company now has more than 800 staff members, involving 92 intermediate and senior engineers and technicians. The company covers a land area of 62000 m2, with the floorage being 38000 m2. With the rate of virescence coverage on the factory site accounting for 40%, the factory enjoys elegant and beautiful
environment and looks like a garden.
    The company possesses internationally-advanced equipment, with the annual output of spinning being 3000 tons, the annual output of semi-spinning being 1000 tons and the annual output by German STOLL computerized flat-knitting machine being 1 million pieces. The company enjoys broad channels for both supply and marketing and its products are exported to such countries and regions as Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Germany, etc. and it also processes materials supplied by customers.     The company now has the bobbin winder and two-for-one twister imported from Germany, the bobbin winder from Italy, the twisting frame from Switzerland, as well as the German STOLL computerized flat-knitting machine, etc.

    公司注重新型产品的研制与开发，主要产品有：（一）精纺羊毛无结纱，羊毛腈纶混纺纱（30W/70A，50W/50A，15W/85A等），丝光防缩毛纱，巴素兰毛纱、天丝、腈纶、竹纤维、大豆纤维等系列混纺纱，并不断推出高品质的易保养、机可洗、防缩、抗起球、丝光超柔软系列产品（20NM-100NM）；（二）半精纺，羊绒、绢丝、兔绒、棉，粘胶，天丝，竹纤维等混纺毛纱；（三）各类提花羊毛衫。

    The company attaches great importance to product R&D and its major products involve: (I) such blended yarn series as combing wool knotless yarn, wool/ acrylic fiber blended yarn (30W/70A, 50W/50A, 15W/85A, etc.), mercerized shrinkproof wool yarn, BARSLAN wool yarn, natural silk, acrylic fibers, bamboo fiber, soybean fiber, etc., as well as constant high-quality new varieties such as the series products (20NM~100NM) which are easy to maintain, machine-washable, shrinkproof, piling-resistant, silky & super-soft;  (II)  blended wool yarns of semi-spinning, cashmere, floret, rabbit fine hair, cotton, viscose fiber, natural silk, bamboo fiber, etc;  (III) various types of jacquard knitted sweaters.
